Join our Mindful Approach to Stress Management group which can help you gain perspective, learn coping skills and strategies to better control your thinking, maintain a sense of control and better regulate your mood. The Youth Job Connection Summer Program is scheduled to run on March 2nd – 6th, 2020.

The program supports youth ages 15 to 18, currently enrolled in high school, returning to school in the fall and looking for part time or summer employment.

Orientation sessions will be held on:

February 6th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm

February 12th from 4:00 – 6:00pm

February 18th from 4:00 – 6:00pm

February 19th from 4:00 – 6:00pm

The Mentoring Partnership helps immigrant professionals reconnect with their careers with the help of a mentor who works in their field in Canada.

A mentor can help you:

Understand Canadian industry trends and develop more effective job search strategies.                                                                        Build your local professional network & find ways of leveraging your experience/skills

You should sign up for the program if:                                              You have two+ years’ international experience in your professional field (but little or no professional experience in Canada)                  You have lived in Canada for less than five years.                        You are unemployed or underemployed and looking to reconnect with your career.                                                                                You have not previously participated in the program.
