Warehouse Clerk – Part time Position

TecMate develops, manufactures and sells professional and consumer battery chargers, battery testers, CABLE, USB and LED accessories, engine troubleshooting and tuning tools aimed at the power sport (motorcycle, ATV, UTV), motorsport, marine, general automotive, light aircraft and industrial equipment industries. TecMate North America has an opening for a warehouse/logistics support. Ideal for a person seeking part-time employment.

Working Conditions
Position: Permanent Part Time
Standard Working Hours: Weekdays, Monday thru Friday, 4-5 Hours per day.

Wages: $18 

Education and Experience

Ø  Certified to use a Forklift (Stand Up Raymond)

Ø  Experience in manual handling and goods in / out

Ø  High school diploma

Ø  Previous Warehouse/Logistic work experience is an asset.

Ø  Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Ø  Valid Drivers License

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ø  Good communication

Ø  Ability to work to procedures

Ø  Flexible and reliable

Ø  The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently 

Ø  Ability to prioritize workload

Ø  Diligent attention to detail and safety

Ø  Positive attitude and good work ethic


Ø  Knowledge of workplace health and safety

Ø  Good level of fitness

Ø  Punctual



Primary Duties:

Ø  Load and unload shipments

Ø  Product preparation ex.; labelling and packing product accessories

Ø  Picking and packing customer orders

Ø  Required to lift heavy parcel up to 50lbs (23kgs)

Ø  Operating forklift

Ø  Wrapping skids

Ø  Monthly inventory counts

Ø  Ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded

Ø  Handling all necessary paperwork accurately

Ø  Assembly of boxes and shelf replenishment

Ø  Checking for damaged or missing items

Ø  Preparing transportation (waybills), arranging carrier pick ups

Ø  Receiving incoming goods from all sources and verifying shipments received

Ø  Warehouse maintenance (ordering supplies, sweeping, taking out the garbage)

Ø  liaison with warehouse manager
